Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Chimera Rocket Labs will be responsible for identifying and attracting top-tier candidates for a variety of positions within the organization, from engineering roles to business operations. As a member of the human resources team, you will help build and maintain a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive workforce that supports the mission of the company. This remote role requires a proactive, self-driven individual with expertise in full-cycle recruitment and a passion for hiring top talent in the aerospace and technology sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating offers for various roles across the company.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand position requirements, team dynamics, and company culture to ensure alignment between candidate profiles and job needs.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates, including leveraging job boards, social media, networking events, and professional organizations.
- Source candidates using a variety of channels such as LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, and passive candidate pipelines.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Schedule and conduct in-depth interviews, providing feedback and recommendations to hiring managers throughout the interview process.
- Manage the interview and hiring process, ensuring timely follow-ups, feedback collection, and a smooth candidate experience.
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to negotiate offers and communicate compensation packages to selected candidates.
- Assist in developing job descriptions and ensuring they are aligned with industry standards and company needs.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for future hiring needs.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, and hiring success rates.
- Partner with the HR team to ensure a smooth on-boarding process for new hires.
- Support the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy by ensuring diverse candidate pools and promoting inclusive hiring practices.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, recruitment tools, and technologies to continuously improve the hiring process.
- Represent Chimera Rocket Labs at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to attract talent and build the company’s brand.
- Foster relationships with hiring managers and department leads to ensure collaboration and alignment on hiring goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a proven track record of hiring for technical and engineering roles in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience recruiting for roles in the aerospace, technology, or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, candidate sourcing strategies, and interview techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- Ability to assess candidates’ skills, qualifications, and cultural fit accurately.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and other recruitment tools effectively.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach to recruiting, with a passion for sourcing top talent.
- Ability to work independently in a remote work environment, managing your own schedule and priorities.
- Knowledge of compliance with hiring regulations and laws (e.g., EEOC, GDPR) in the recruitment process.
