Position Overview:
The Project Expert will lead, coordinate, and oversee the planning and execution of complex projects at Chimera Rocket Labs. This role requires a deep understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and execute multiple aerospace projects from inception to completion.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and address any issues or roadblocks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in the aerospace, technology, or engineering sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Asana, Trello, or Jira.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of aerospace systems, processes, and technologies is a strong advantage.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is preferred.
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a remote work environment.
