Position Overview:
As an Account Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, managing client accounts, and providing insights to optimize account performance. Your role will involve creating detailed reports, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and collaborating with teams to meet organizational objectives. This position is critical to maintaining the financial health and efficiency of client partnerships at Chimera Rocket Labs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze client account data to assess performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and analyses for internal and client review.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and project management teams to resolve account discrepancies and streamline processes.
- Monitor account activity, including invoicing, payments, and budget utilization, to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for account-related challenges.
- Support account audits by providing required data and insights.
- Develop and implement account management best practices to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate documentation for client accounts, including contracts, transactions, and correspondence.
- Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in account analysis, financial reporting, or a related role.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings effectively.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the aerospace, engineering, or technology industry.
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of contract management and client relationship management systems.
