Position Overview:

As an Aerospace Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and analyzing spacecraft and propulsion systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet mission requirements while ensuring reliability, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze aerospace structures, propulsion systems, and flight components.
  • Perform aerodynamic, thermal, and structural simulations using advanced engineering tools.
  • Develop and validate CAD models, schematics, and engineering documentation.
  • Conduct trade studies and performance assessments to optimize system efficiency.
  • Support testing, integration, and validation of aerospace hardware and subsystems.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure quality and compliance with aerospace standards.
  • Contribute to system-level design, risk assessment, and failure analysis.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in aerospace technology, materials, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace design, analysis, or testing.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX) and simulation tools (ANSYS, CFD, MATLAB).
  • Strong understanding of propulsion systems, aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, and structural mechanics.
  • Experience with aerospace materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100, NASA specifications, or MIL-STD.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in spaceflight hardware development, launch vehicle systems, or satellite technology.
  • Hands-on experience with propulsion testing, wind tunnel testing, or structural validation.
  • Exposure to systems engineering, avionics, and mission planning.
  • Knowledge of additive manufacturing and composite materials in aerospace applications.
