Position Overview:
The Computer Graphic Designer will play a key role in creating visually compelling content that reflects the technological innovation and mission-driven ethos of Chimera Rocket Labs. This role involves designing digital assets, marketing materials, and technical illustrations that align with our brand identity and inspire our audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality graphics for digital and print media, including promotional materials, technical diagrams, social media content, and presentations.
- Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and product development teams to create visuals that accurately represent complex aerospace concepts.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive visual brand identity across all platforms and materials.
- Create 3D renderings, animations, and visualizations for product demonstrations and marketing campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative design techniques into projects.
- Optimize graphics for various platforms, ensuring compatibility and high performance.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a technical or aerospace environment.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and 3D modeling tools (Blender, Maya, or similar).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including technical and conceptual projects.
- Experience with animation and motion graphics is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Ability to understand and visually represent complex technical concepts.
