Position Overview:
As a Data Analyst at Chimera Rocket Labs, you will play a key role in analyzing complex datasets, generating actionable insights, and contributing to the success of our aerospace projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven strategies are employed in all aspects of the business, from engineering and operations to finance and customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in large datasets.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to define data requirements and improve processes.
  • Support the development of predictive models to forecast performance and optimize outcomes.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices in data management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in ad hoc data analysis and reporting needs for projects and leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, techniques, and industry trends in data analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis or related role, preferably in a technical or engineering-driven organization.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the aerospace or technology industry.
  • Knowledge of big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics and simulation modeling.
  • Certification in data analytics or related fields (e.g., Google Data Analytics, AWS Data Analytics Specialty).
