Position Overview:

As an Engineer II, you will take on a mid-level engineering role, applying technical expertise to solve complex challenges in aerospace development. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to design and analysis, and ensure the successful execution of projects from concept to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and optimize aerospace components and systems.
  • Conduct simulations, testing, and validation of engineering solutions.
  • Support manufacturing and integration of propulsion, structural, and avionics systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Apply industry best practices to improve system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project milestones and customer requirements.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and advancements in aerospace engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in aerospace, defense, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA) and engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, or COMSOL).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Effective communication skills for working with remote teams and cross-functional groups.
  • Self-motivated with strong project management and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in spaceflight hardware, propulsion systems, or avionics.
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, NASA specifications, MIL-STD).
  • Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, or automated systems.
  • Knowledge of software development, AI, or control systems for aerospace applications.
