Position Overview:
As a General Engineer, you will work across multiple engineering disciplines, assisting in the design, analysis, testing, and optimization of aerospace systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various phases of research, development, and production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and analysis of aerospace components and systems.
- Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and technical evaluations.
- Support manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance efforts.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Troubleshoot engineering challenges and propose innovative solutions.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to apply best practices.
- Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Broad knowledge of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA) and simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, or COMSOL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multidisciplinary projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with remote teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the aerospace, defense, or robotics industries.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, or system integration.
- Knowledge of aerospace industry standards such as AS9100 or NASA specifications.
- Familiarity with automation, AI, or software development for engineering applications.
