Position Overview:
The Human Resource Associate will play a vital role in supporting the HR team with recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, updates, and addressing employee questions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives and company events.
- Generate and analyze HR reports to provide insights and recommendations to the HR team.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to improve HR processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a remote or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools, such as HRIS, ATS, or payroll systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
- Certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.
