Position Overview:
The Human Resource Associate will play a vital role in supporting the HR team with recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, updates, and addressing employee questions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives and company events.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports to provide insights and recommendations to the HR team.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to improve HR processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a remote or technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools, such as HRIS, ATS, or payroll systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
  • Certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.
