Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer to lead and manage the seamless integration of hardware, software, and system components for our cutting-edge aerospace projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration to ensure all components function harmoniously within mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the integration of hardware, software, and systems for aerospace applications.
- Develop and implement integration workflows, ensuring all subsystems work cohesively.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve interface issues across disciplines.
- Test and validate integrated systems to ensure they meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Develop and maintain integration documentation, including schematics, procedures, and test results.
- Debug and troubleshoot integration issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Support system verification and validation processes in simulated and real-world environments.
- Participate in design reviews, providing feedback on integration feasibility and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance integration processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in system integration within aerospace, robotics, or similarly complex industries.
- Strong understanding of hardware-software interfaces and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, Serial).
- Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and configuration management practices.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with aerospace systems, including launch vehicles or satellite technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with system engineering tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or LabVIEW.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles in system integration.
- Certification in systems engineering (e.g., INCOSE CSEP) is a plus.
