Position Overview:

As a Liaison Engineer, you will serve as a key technical point of contact between engineering teams, suppliers, and production teams. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving design, manufacturing, and integration challenges while ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a bridge between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Review and interpret engineering designs, blueprints, and specifications to support production and integration efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Provide real-time support to suppliers and vendors to ensure product compliance and quality standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Support change management processes by assessing the impact of design modifications on production.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including reports, engineering change notices, and technical recommendations.
  • Ensure that engineering solutions align with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or production support roles, preferably in aerospace or defense industries.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination across teams.
  • Ability to analyze technical data, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Experience working with aerospace standards such as AS9100, MIL-STD, or NASA specifications is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and procurement processes in the aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge of rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, and advanced composite materials.
  • Experience with quality assurance and root cause analysis methodologies.
