  • Perform statistical reliability analysis and life-cycle predictions using industry-standard tools.
  • Establish reliability test plans, including environmental, vibration, and thermal testing.
  • Define and track reliability metrics (MTBF, MTTR, and overall system availability).
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to improve component durability and robustness.
  • Analyze operational data and field failure reports to improve reliability models.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, MIL-STD, NASA specifications).
  • Provide input on reliability-related design trade-offs and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering, failure analysis, or systems engineering.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace systems, propulsion technologies, and structural components.
  • Proficiency with reliability analysis software (ReliaSoft, Weibull++, RAM Commander, or similar).
  • Experience with reliability testing, stress analysis, and statistical modeling.
  • Knowledge of industry reliability standards and methodologies (FMEA, RCM, RAM analysis).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with space systems, launch vehicles, or satellite reliability programs.
  • Background in predictive maintenance and AI-driven reliability modeling.
